On the other hand is, one of Scyla's rules is that he is a spawn and as such, follows the rules for spawns. Scyla is a unique unit entry, and as such only follow the rules that apply TO HIM. Scyla is different from, say, Karanak who is explicitly an upgrade to a flesh hound and is not a unique unit entry. You know, I'm just not entirely convinced.
Otherwise I am going to start putting rat ogres in my clan rat units like kroxigors since it doesn't say I can't. If it doesn't say you can in the book then that means you can not. Under regular spawn entry does it say you can also include scillia as part of a two spawn rare choice? Under Scillia's entry does it say you may include another spawn as a single rare choice? If you take that named flesh hound does it say you can take more flesh hounds in the same army book entry? If you take that named flesh hound can you still take more flesh hounds?
